"Drawing Fundamentals"
Mark's Newest Book for 2026
On Sale Now!
As detailed in the 153 pages of this book, there is a lot more to drawing than just putting pencil to paper. My plan for this book was to endeavor to include easy-to-understand explanations of the essential fundamentals of drawing, while avoiding to offer a vanity project filled with my drawings. My hope is that the exercises included in this book will inspire and help you generate your own drawings, not to have you just copy what I have drawn. What is required to master these skills is PRACTICE. Only through practice will you see improvement in your abilities. "Persistent practice, as in learning any other skill, generally results in superior performance. And so it is with drawing." The investment of time is required.
My hope is that you have made the decision to embark on this grand journey, and will then stay on course and eventually master the Art of Drawing.
