Drawn on Black Canson Mi-Tientes Paper, this dramatic piece introduces you to my underpainting technique for Color Pencil. You begin this particular project with a tonal black and white underpainting, and then layer the brilliant tones of red, yellow and blue over the established form. I recommend this project for intermediate students.
