In this fun, project, you will learn many valuable techniques to broaden your color pencil skills. I created this project, “Fox Hollow” to explore helpful color pencil techniques that carry over to other wildlife projects. You will be introduced to the techniques of capturing realistic fur, and the glass-like quality in the eyes; achieving maximum impact using a monochromatic palette; cross-hatching; and how to utilize toned paper to best effect.
This project is designed for the beginner or intermediate student.
